(주)티제이티이엔지 (“the Company”) protects users’ personal data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and maintains the following policy so that user concerns about personal data can be handled promptly.

1. Personal data we collect

We collect the following data. The items listed here are exactly the fields our forms ask for.

Quote / consultation enquiry (required)

  • Name
  • Contact — either a phone number or an email address; whichever the user chooses to provide
  • Topic of enquiry
  • Message

Quote / consultation enquiry (optional)

  • Company name
  • Attachments — drawings and reference files (PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, ZIP). An enquiry can be sent without any attachment.

Catalogue download (optional)

  • Email address
  • Company name
  • The download can be completed without entering anything; in that case only the download record (source, product, language, time) is kept.

Administrator accounts (Company staff)

  • Name or account name
  • Email address
  • Password (stored hashed) or Google account sign-in
  • Phone number
  • Profile image URL

Automatically collected

  • Website usage statistics via Google Analytics (visits, page views)
  • Chat widget usage when the ChannelTalk consultation widget is used

2. Purposes of processing

We use collected data only for the following purposes. Any change of purpose requires separate consent.

  • Receiving and replying to quote enquiries (by phone or email)
  • Discussing specifications and communicating about manufacture and delivery
  • Providing catalogues and technical documents
  • Authenticating administrator accounts and managing permissions
  • Analysing site usage and improving the service

3. Retention periods

We keep personal data for the consented period or the period required by law, and destroy it without delay once the purpose is fulfilled.

  • Quote / consultation enquiries (including attached drawings): 3 years after the enquiry is closed
  • Catalogue download records: 2 years from collection
  • Administrator accounts: until the person leaves or requests deletion
  • Website usage statistics: per Google Analytics retention settings

Where Korean law requires longer retention, the data is kept for that statutory period.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not provide users’ personal data to third parties, except with the user’s prior consent or where a law-enforcement authority requests it through lawful procedure.

5. Processing entrusted to service providers

Contracts with these providers set out data-protection obligations, and we supervise how they handle the data.

6. Destruction of personal data

Data whose retention period has expired or whose purpose has been fulfilled is destroyed without delay.

  • Electronic files are permanently deleted by a technical means that prevents recovery.
  • Paper documents are shredded or incinerated.
  • Attached drawing files are deleted from the storage bucket (S3).

You may exercise the following rights at any time; contact us using the details below and we will act without delay.

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion
  • Request suspension of processing

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14.

8. Security measures

We take the following measures to keep personal data safe.

  • Access is limited to the minimum number of staff, with managed permissions.
  • The whole site is served over HTTPS (SSL/TLS).
  • Administrator passwords are stored in a form that cannot be decrypted.
  • Administrator screens are restricted to authenticated accounts.
  • URLs of attached drawing files are never exposed on public pages or notifications.

9. Cookies

We use cookies to remember your language preference and to measure site usage. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as remembering your language, may then not work.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy is added to, removed from or amended, we will announce the change on the website at least 7 days before it takes effect.
