Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and its users in relation to the internet services (the "Services") provided on the website operated by (주)티제이티이엔지 (the "Company").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows.

• "Website" means the virtual place of business established by the Company using computers and other information and communications facilities in order to provide the Services to users.
• "User" means a member or non-member who accesses the Website and receives the Services provided by the Company under these Terms.
• "Member" means a person who has registered by providing personal information to the Company, and who may continuously receive information from the Company and use the Services provided by the Company.
• "Non-member" means a person who uses the Services provided by the Company without registering as a member.

Article 3 (Publication, Explanation and Amendment of the Terms)

The Company shall post the contents of these Terms, together with its trade name, the name of its representative, the address of its place of business (including the address where consumer complaints can be handled), telephone number, facsimile number, email address and business registration number, on the initial service screen of the Website so that users can easily see them.

Article 4 (Provision and Change of Services)

The Company carries out the following activities.

• Providing information on the manufacture and sale of precision measuring instruments
• Quotation enquiries and consultation services
• Providing product information and technical materials
• Customer support services
• Other activities determined by the Company

Article 5 (Suspension of Services)

The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Services in the event of maintenance, replacement or failure of computers and other information and communications facilities, interruption of communications, natural disaster, national emergency, security problems such as hacking or viruses, or any other cause beyond the control of the Company, and the Company shall not be liable in such cases.

Article 6 (Membership Registration)

A user applies for membership by entering their member information in the registration form determined by the Company and indicating their agreement to these Terms.

Article 7 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)

A member may request withdrawal of membership at any time, and the Company shall process the withdrawal within a reasonable period. However, where a service is in progress or a retention obligation exists under applicable law, the withdrawal shall be processed after that cause has been resolved.

Article 8 (Notice to Members)

Where the Company gives notice to a member, it may do so at the email address designated in advance by agreement between the member and the Company.

Article 9 (Obligations of Users)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts.

• Registering false information when applying or making changes
• Misappropriating the information of another person
• Altering information posted by the Company
• Transmitting or posting information other than that determined by the Company (such as computer programs)
• Infringing the copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Company or a third party
• Damaging the reputation of, or interfering with the business of, the Company or a third party
• Disclosing or posting on the Website obscene or violent messages, images, sounds or other information contrary to public order and morals

Article 10 (Relationship Between Linking and Linked Sites)

Where an upper site and a lower site are connected by means of a hyperlink (the target of a hyperlink may include text, images and moving images), the former is called the linking site (the Website) and the latter the linked site.

Article 11 (Ownership of Copyright and Restrictions on Use)

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Company belong to the Company.

Article 12 (Exemption and Dispute Resolution)

The Company shall not be liable for any suspension of the Services or damage to users caused by natural disaster, force majeure, system failure, communications failure or any other cause not attributable to the wilful misconduct or gross negligence of the Company. The Company shall establish and operate a damage compensation body in order to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and to compensate for such damage, limited to cases in which the wilful misconduct or gross negligence of the Company is established.

Article 13 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

Any litigation concerning a dispute arising between the Company and a user shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the Daejeon District Court located in Daejeon Metropolitan City shall be the exclusive court of first instance for such litigation.

This applies even where the address or residence of the user is not in Daejeon Metropolitan City; under these Terms the competent court shall be the Daejeon District Court.
